What's Happening This Season?
Early Spring Tips:
- If you seed your own plants early, we recommend pinching them after their second leaf set to promote fuller growth for late May planting!
- Now is a great time to start regularly fertilizing your indoor plants. We recommend Jack's Classic!
- Did you forget to pant your fall bulbs (tulips, daffodils, hyacinths)? We recommend planting as soon as the ground is thawed. While they may not bloom well this spring, they will have a nice, healthy root system for blooming next spring!
- Pansies are sprouting in the greenhouse! Since they are greenhouse grown, they require cool weather acclimation before staying outside permanently. Slowly acclimate them to temps form 60 down to 40. While they can be frost tolerant, we recommend bringing them inside for temps below 40 to prevent foliage and flower damage.
