Van Atta's is once again proud to host the Greater Lansing Orchid Society's Annual Orchid Show and Sale! Vendors will be selling a wide variety of orchids and orchid growing supplies, there will be gorgeous displays to check out, and you can even join in on an orchid growing class. Free admission, however, donations to the Greater Lansing Orchid Society will be accepted.

Bring in that orchid you've had for years, or your new orchid from the GLOS Orchid Show and Sale and we'll help you with choosing a container, repotting and all questions orchid-related! Pre-registration not required, class fee is cost of new pot and soil ($2 per inch of pot size).

Join Sami to learn how to make flowers out of pinecones for arrangements, wall art, and more! You'll paint pinecone flowers (some cut, some whole) to take home and use in arrangements, wreaths, dried designs and you'll learn how to create more on your own. Pinecones, instructions, stems and paint provided for $45. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Build a terrarium with us! We will have step-by-step instructions set-up so you can work at your own pace! We will give a brief instructional demo at 1pm, then the planting will commence! Bring in your own container and trinkets or shop from our selection of containers and accessories! There is a $3 fee per terrarium that includes the soil, moss, stone, etc used in the terrarium. All other products including plants will be purchased separately. Registration is not required for this workshop.

Create your own bulbgarden!

Plant your own bulb garden in the greenhouse with us! We will have a great selection of bulbs and other spring plants available for you to use to create a bulb garden that brings spring inside your home. Fee: $50 Registration is required for this class as space is limited.
