January 10

Re-Potting Houseplants Hands-on Class

When: January 10th from 12pm -1pm

Bring in your indoor plants and join us for a re-potting session! We will have soil and tools available for you to repot your houseplant while getting expert advice throughout the process. Bring in your own pot or shop from our wide selection of decorative and grower pots in store! Please note that all plants should be wrapped when traveling in temps below 50 degrees. We also request that you inspect your plants before bringing them into our store to prevent the spread of fungal and pest issues. Registration is not required for this class.

January 17

Build Your Own Terrarium Bar

When: January 17th from 12pm -1pm

Build a terrarium with us! We will have step-by-step instructions set-up so you can work at your own pace! We will give a brief instructional demo at 12pm, then the planting will commence! Bring in your own container and trinkets or shop from our selection of containers and accessories! There is a $3 fee per terrarium that includes the soil, moss, stone, etc used in the terrarium. All other products including plants will be purchased separately. Registration is not required for this workshop.

Decorating Your Home with Houseplants Seminar

When: January 24th from 12pm -1pm

Join Lisa to learn tips and tricks for using plants in your home as décor! See examples of plant choices for specific décor styles, do's and don'ts for healthy and happy plants, and how to achieve a style that's right for you. Come armed with questions and photos if you'd like specific answers for your home! Registration is not required for this seminar.

Create Your Own Kokedama

When: January 31st from 12pm -1pm

Kokedama is a Japanese style of stylizing a plant the utilizes natural materials like moss and twine. You will be able to select a plant, then we will work together to wrap the roots and soil in moss and twine. There will be a $6 fee per kokedama that includes the moss, soil, and twine. The cost of the plant you select is in addition to the $6 fee. Kokedama is a unique way to display your indoor plants and can be recreated again and again! Registration is not required for this workshop.
